World Geography – Social Studies

  1. Expected Course Objectives

After completion of this course, the student should be able to use the knowledge acquired in this course to enhance their skills with the United States Government, U.S. and World current events, states shapes identify and name all 50 states and capitals.

  1. Grading

Grades will be determined from daily work and tests. Also, keep in mind attitude and effort go a long way on the grading scale.

A = 90-100

B = 80-89

C = 70-79

D = 60-69

F = 59 and below

  1. Behavioral Expectations in classroom

My only classroom rule is the Golden Rule:

Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

In addition these expectations for classroom work are to be followed:

  1. Arrive to class on time.
  2. Come to class prepared each and every day to learn –have pen or pencil, paper, etc…
  3. Do assignments, including all daily work, in a quick and orderly manner.
  4. Late homework will be allowed when students miss for illness or family situations.
  5. Students will follow all Haskell Public Schools board policy for student behavior.
