I began teaching in 1984 at Caddo High School, Caddo , Oklahoma. I taught 7th & 8th Language Arts, English I & II, Speech and Business English.
I have two daughters who graduated from Haskell High School. During their middle and high school years, we were very involved in school activities since they were officers in FFA and their classes and played softball,and basketball besides the classes and activities I sponsored.
Today, my most important role is the that of grandmother so I spend time with my granddaughter and attend many of her cheerleading and sports activities! At home, Henry David Thoreau, a Boston Terrier and Lily, a dachshund are waiting for me.
My hobbies include Calligraphy and Genealogy and spending time with my Granddaughter. I also love to read, travel and learn about anything pertaining to culture, geography and history.
I am a member/ Vice – Regent of the Wealaka Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution; two of my father's ancestors who fought in the American Revolution. Our chapter is a service organization that is concerned about helping our youth learn about and support the United State, American Constitution, Patriotic Events, Veterans and many other activities..
