I began teaching at Haskell in 2000, and have been involved in many activities at the school. I coach junior high and high school football, high school boys basketball, andjunior high and high school baseball. I am currently teaching Geometry.
Before becoming a teacher, I worked for 13 years at a local newspaper in Warner, serving as editor. Some of my duties included typesetting, writing, advertisement layout, photography, and sales.
I was born on a USAF base in England. My father served in the armed forces for over 24 years and my mother was born and raised in a suburb of London. I attended various air force base schools until my father retired and moved back to his birthplace of Warner, Oklahoma. I attended junior high and high school at Warner, and have been involved in First Baptist Church in many capacities since 1981, including presently serving as a deacon. I have served on the park committee as an officer, and served as an officer in the local Kiwanis Club and on the local school athletic booster club.
When I am not teaching, I like to be involved in various activities here at the school, and play golf and other sports. I enjoy reading and being with friends, especially supporting the SOONERS!
