This course will build on Algebra principles and include more formulas and shapes. The course sequence will be available on my page on the Haskell website. This course will move at a slower pace than some classes as we will spend time reinforcing skills that the class finds difficult.
Lesson Plans are subject to change as I pace the class based on the students’ mastery of the topic.
Students will have assignments daily. The students will have time in class to work on the problems and ask questions if needed. All assignments are graded. Most assignments are worth 10 points. If all assignments are turned in, the student should be able to pass the course even if he/she has difficulty taking tests. I do give extra credit assignments regularly.
Tests will be given at the end of the units. Tests will be worth 100 points each. The students will have a chance in class to retake tests or do test corrections to raise a low test grade.
Make up Work
Make up work will be accepted until grades are due for the grading period.
Leaving the Classroom
Being in class during instruction is a key to success. Passes out of the classroom is at my discretion. If the destination or timing is inappropriate, or you have abused pass privileges, you will not be allowed to leave the classroom.
